British artist Reuben Dangoor's creative work is profoundly shaped by contemporary events and the dynamic environment of London. His significant breakthrough occurred when his striking portraits of Stormzy, Skepta, and Dizzee Rascal were unveiled at Tate Britain Museum for his inaugural exhibition, 'Legends of the Scene.' This groundbreaking exhibition marked him as the first artist to bring the luminaries of the UK Grime and Hip Hop scene into a prestigious museum, garnering global acclaim. His work received extensive coverage from renowned outlets such as The New York Times, GQ, Hypebeast, Artnet, Highsnobiety, Evening Standard (even gracing the front cover), Netflix, BBC News, Channel 4, Sky News, and many others. Reuben's artistic prowess has also found its way into The Design Museum, where his creations were featured in the 'Art of Politics' exhibition. Notably, his pieces were showcased in the Design Museum's Sneaker Exhibition, which has since toured Holland and Hong Kong. Reuben's art made a cameo on Netflix's popular series, 'Master of None,' and he ventured into television on BBC Three's 'Tonight with Target,' appearing alongside M Huncho after designing album artwork for Island Records. The summer of 2018 marked a turning point in Reuben's career when his artwork depicting the England football squad went viral, attracting attention across digital platforms, print media, and television. His viral masterpiece of Gareth Southgate was acquired by the Southgate family and now graces their home. This recognition led to Reuben's invitation to unveil the England squad for the Euro's through a new artwork. As a devoted Arsenal fan, he had the privilege of collaborating on their kit launch with Adidas, even releasing a limited Oyster card and T-shirt. At the outset of the current year, Reuben introduced five new artworks at the Arsenal Emirates stadium in London. One of Reuben's notable achievements was a 3-D billboard for the BBC's acclaimed series, 'Dracula,' which went viral worldwide and received multiple accolades in the field of marketing and advertising. His collaboration with Adidas on the Predator shoe series was a resounding success, making him the first artist to contribute to the iconic line. Recently, Reuben partnered with Arlo Parks for her global tour campaign and merchandise. With a career that commenced at Rockstar Games, Reuben later rekindled his involvement in the gaming world with FIFA 22, where he launched an exclusive in-game "David Beckham" kit, a collaborative effort between Reuben and David Beckham in support of Unicef. Penguin Books and Mo The Comedian enlisted Reuben's illustrative talents for Mo's debut number one book. Recent collaborations also encompass prominent names such as NBA, Call of Duty, Nandos, Disclosure, Drag Race UK, Beats By Dre, and Marcus Rashford.
