Born in 1993, in Yonkers, NY, Nicasio continues to develop his craft in the big 🍎. From humble beginnings, early on he was given more freedom than most, and used this independence to let his imagination run free. As he grew up, the artist increasingly channeled this spirit into his work and would go on to receive a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York in 2015. Over the last year, the young New Yorker has really come into his own and people have started to take notice. His work continues to evolve and dive deeper into the human psyche. The masterful use of anthropomorphic figures turn the mundane into the comically uncanny and leaves you reluctantly mesmerised. As he enjoyed in his youth, Nicasio gives us immense freedom to form our own intimate interpretations for the emotional states and visuals of the human condition he portrays.
