Born in 1977 Santiago, Chile, Alejandro now works in Los Angeles. A multi-faceted talent, before trying his hand at fine arts, Alejandro was a succesful illustrator, graphic designer and videographer. Most people would have been content with such an extensive resume, but Alejandro wanted to further express himself and leave his mark on the contemporary art scene. As a painter, Alejandro has created an uncanny post-human world that leaves you both mesmerised and disturbed. The malformed humanoid subjects at the forefront of his pieces starkly contrast their perfectly formed domestic and natural backdrops. This incongruity creates an otherworldly experience that somehow feels very close to home. Alejandro has quickly become one of our favourite contemporary artists and we can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.
