Born in 1990, Adriana currently paints her figurative masterpieces in Barcelona, Spain. Growing up amongst an artistically-minded family, she was encouraged from a young age to embrace creativity. Adriana spent the early part of her life focused on photography, but her photos increasingly began to take on influences from Pop Art. She became drawn to the narrative autonomy afforded by painting. Adriana’s style is heavily influenced by her photographic past, as her figurative works capture a snapshot of emotion, like a photo from the 50s doctored by a brush. The minimalist and neutral figures that dominate her canvas are painted with a natural grace that reduces them to their truest form, granting each viewer the freedom to reflect on the imagery in a neutral space. The ambiguity leaves you craving for more. There is little doubt that Adriana is a star in the making and we can’t wait to see her rise.
